Study On The Strategic Improving Of The Equipment Management Of XY University

Higher school teaching and scientific research level, not only have to college teachers andteaching concept, construction also depends on the university laboratory equipment andmanagement level. With the large increase of university laboratory equipment variety, quantityand workload management, some problems existing in the management of laboratory fullyexposed. XY university is an engineering based, multidisciplinary coordinated development ofthe national "211Project" key university, along with the continuous investment in highereducation, the rapid development in recent years of school, has achieved remarkable results. Butthe XY still exist many problems to be solved in university. Especially the continuous input ofthe national special fund, the school bought a large amount of equipment, but such as equipmentrepeat purchase, the equipment utilization rate is low, no special management, equipment sharingmechanism is not sound and the other problems still exist. Therefore it is necessary to study thestatus of equipment management strategy and improvement of XY University, XY university ishelpful to explore a new management mode suitable for the development of schools.This paper present the instrument and equipment management of XY University wereanalyzed. Analysis consider the procurement mode is implemented, the low utilization rate ofequipment, equipment use efficiency is low. By SWOT on the equipment management in XYUniversity’s analysis found that, XY University Instrument and equipment and advancedscientific research and experimental platform, technical service ability, but the XY universityequipment management industry weakness, respectively is the lack of information platform,management needs to be improved, at the same time facing the external opportunities is the rapiddevelopment of peer cooperation and information process widely the main threat, is insufficientin the long term and rapid development of the local colleges and universities and school funding.Analysis of the current situation and found results based on the analysis of SWOT, XYuniversity equipment management can play its own advantages and strengthening laboratorycapacity building, the establishment of a network management platform using environmentalopportunities, at the same time, efforts should be made to overcome its weaknesses and threats,establishment of test equipment of open fund. And the level of cultural construction andmanagement of labs and further enhance the security of XY university equipment managementwork orderly, rapid development and promote the school.
