China is a multinational community composed of56ethnic groups.Each ethnicgroup in the process of long-term development formed its own unique and excellentnational culture. The traditional curriculum management system sparkplugs thedevelopment of the main ethnic group. At the same time, the system ignores theexistence of outstanding minority culture, which results in single resources in theimplement of curriculum and many difficulties in the minority cultural heritage.What’s more, ethnic minority groups’s cultural awareness and identity about theirown cultures are gradually fading. Cultural heritage is one of the important goals ofeducation. Multicultural education theory provides new ideas about the inheritanceand development of culture. The purpose of this study is to focus on the status quo ofBai cultural heritage, excavate the related contents in Bai folk as curriculum resources,and discuss the feasibility and validity that national cultures are used as curriculumresources.In regard to the study of Bai folk, we should pay more attention to Bai religiousbeliefs, Bai nationality’s arts, and Bai traditional sports. This study first combines Baifolk with high-school biology by using the research method of anthropology. Thisstudy excavates and organizes the related contents that Bai folk are linked tohigh-school biology, and then tries to develop them as curriculum resources throughthe combination of field investigation, questionnaire survey, interview, thedocumentary method and case study method.The case study shows the related contents that Bai folk are linked to biology ascurriculum resources in the teaching process enrich learning resources and play acertain role in promoting Bai cultural heritage. Therefore, this article suggests thatmaking use of Bai culture to develop curriculum resources not only can effectivelyachieve the teaching goal, but also Bai cultural heritage are introduced into theteaching process, which has positive significance of the inheritance and protection ofthe Bai culture.
