Occupation education as a part of modern education in China, is one of theimportant part of national economic and social development.Since the reform andopening up in ecnomic, China’s higher vocational education has great developmentand progress, in recent years, along with the transformation in China to furtheraccelerate the speed of economic development and economic structure, the societyto the higher occupation education and personnel training dynamics andrequirements gradually increased. In order to make better development of highervocational education under the new situation, the problem of higher vocationalcolleges must be payed attention to, which the confusion and problems is thehigher vocational education in our country in the process of outstandingprofessional and technical education, we put too much attention on the relationshipbetween the occupation education and economic development, weakened theeducational function of university education, weaken the Marx philosophy worldoutlook education combined with our traditional culture, to a certain extent theformation of ethics of the fault, which is manifested in the activities of highervocational education pays attention to occupation skill, ignore the cultivation ofstudents’ moral and cultural characteristics, has led some students lack the propersocial morality and sense of responsibility, can not adapt to the unskilledoccupation environment. Eighteen report on culture and education pointed out:"the culture is thelifeblood of a nation, is the spiritual home of the people". The construction ofsocialism with Chinese characteristic culture, to cultivate and carry forward thenational spirit and the spirit of the times, it is an important task and requirement ofsocialist core value system. Therefore, the study on as China excellent traditionalculture content of the "Tao","art" theory and the traditional Confucian culture andthe development of China’s higher vocational education reference for study anddiscussion. The study method used in this paper includes the literature researchmethod, survey method, analysis method. The full text is divided into five parts, thefirst part is the introduction, the second part is the summarization of Chinesetraditional Tao and Shu theory, focusing on the Tao and Shu theory and thetraditional Confucian culture theory source were discussed; third part is theoperation of higher occupation technology college and practice of education, andthe fourth part is to explore the research overview of Confucian culture and modernhigher vocational education for the the appropriateness of importance on themodern occupation education; the fifth part focuses on the Pearl River Delta areaof three higher vocational college and enterprise (Panyu Polytechnic Institute,Dongguan joint Occupation Technical School, Guangzhou Qianjiang LimitedCompany) to carry out the "Tao" and "Shu" theory and the traditional Confucianculture of successful practices and experience, to which investigated how to makethe traditional "Tao" and "Shu" doctrine and Confucian culture into the highervocational education, and expand cooperation means to carry out humanistic andadvocating of moral practice of analysis and exploration, in order to provide beneficial inspiration for a new path of development of contemporary vocationaleducation.
