College talent cultivation is directly related to the development of society and theimprovement of comprehensive strength in China, and even affect Chinese prosperity.However, Chinese higher education focus on improving the students’ knowledgeand professional competence at present, on the discovery and guidance of students’psychological problems, but ignoring the development of their positive mental energy.From the perspective of psychological "static-dynamic", positive psychology can bedivided into―positive personality‖and―psychological capital‖, which are closelyrelated. On one hand, personality is the foundation of psychological capital and themediation of behavior, and show values in the form of state under the specificcircumstance; On the other hand, psychological capital is the external performance oftraits. Psychological capital, as a kind of positive psychological ability, can bring to adecisive competitive advantage; traits and environment jointly lead to psychologicalcapital, as the basis of the individual development factor, personality influences thegrowth of college students directly and indirectly.At present, some scholars has studied the impact mechanism of psychologicalcapital on the learnings and employment ability of students, and verified thepromoting relationship. However, past studies neglected the regulation function ofthe student trait, the exploration of the influence of other aspects of the student gains(e.g., practical ability and moral emotion, etc.) is seldom. Based on the aboveproblems, to explore the influence mechanism of psychological capital and MBTIpersonality on college students gains, provides a new perspective for college students’self-improvement talents cultivation, and lays a foundation for further studies in thefield.From the perspective of college students’ psychological capital and MBITpersonality, aimed at promoting cognitive、practical and emotional aspect of studentsgrowth, by the method of questionnaire and structural equation model, based onstatistical analysis tools of SPSS and AMOS software, take some college students inTianjin as the study object, we descripted the present situation of college studentspsychological capital, MBTI personality and gains, and carried on the empiricalanalysis for the construction of model.The study results are as follows:1.The overall level of college students’ psychological capital is higher, which shows that collegestudents have the rich reserves of psychological capital, also have potential of furtherexplorement; as for student gains, the innovation ability, data statistics and analysis,expression ability are comparetively weak.2.There is positive correlation betweenMBTI personality and psychological capital, and the MBTI personality andpsychological capital have positive influence on college students’ growth respectively.we draw the following conclusions:1. the talents cultivation in colleges and should not be limited on improving theknowledge and professional skills of students, but also pay attention to the shapementof personality and the development of psychological capital.2. Compared with personality, psychological capital have more significant effecton the students gains; In addition, psychological capital as the short-termpsychological state, is more susceptible to environment and easier to be enhanced anddeveloped. Universities should give priority to the development of college students’psychological capital, supplemented by personality shapement.3. Personality is the basis of the effective development of psychological capital,influence the effect of students cultivation and quality of higher education directly andindirectly. Colleges should guide the students to understand themselves, know theirown personality types, and can carry on different education methods and cultivationmeasures according to different student’s personality, so as to make full use of thelimited education resources, optimize the effect of psychological capital development,improve the education quality ultimately.
