As the performers of fundamental education,middle school teachers undertake the work of education and teaching in the school,and shoulder the mission of teaching and cultivating the young generation. The level of teachers’ work engagement not only affects their work performance and self development, but also affects the quality of school education and students’ physical and psychological development and promotion. Acccording to JD-R model,Work resources are important factors affecting work engagement. Psychological capital is an important psychological resource that can be developed,and it can promote work engagement throught the complementary energy, the improvement of the identity and motivation.There is contagion effect between leaders’ psychological capital and members in the team of teachers,through positive emotional expression and positive energy transfer,which helps teachers experience more positive emotion, stimulate the level of psychological capital, and affect their work attitude and behavior.The teacher’s mental state and work engagement is not only related to their own factors, but also inevitably affected by the factors of leadership and team.However, to date, there has been relatively little research conducted on the effect of team factors on teacher’s mental state and work engagement. Therefore, this study takes middle school teachers as the research object to collect data with questionnaire survey method, using hierarchical linear model, to explore the contagion effect of leaders ’ psychological capital on teachers,and the relationship between leader psychological capital, team psychological capital,and teacher’s individual psychological capital and work engagement,with a single grade group as a work team.the conclusions are as follows:⑴ There is a positive correlation between leader psychological capital and team work engagement.Team psychological capital mediates the relationship between leader psychological capital and team work engagement.⑵ There is a positive correlation between leader psychological capital and individual work engagement. teacher’s individual psychological capital mediate the relationship between leader psychological capital and individual work engagement.
