A Study On The Influence Of Psychological Capital And Big Five Personality On College Students' View Of Career Choice

With higher education from elite to mass change, the deepening of the reform of college graduates’ employment system, the collision of old and new career outlook posed a severe challenge for contemporary college students. Due to the fact that the difficult problem of employment for college graduates increasingly become the focus of concern, to change college students’ outlook and establish a correct concept of career is undoubtedly the most important. College Students’ responsibility is to build the future of the mission, to establish a scientific and rational concept of career guidance for college students to adapt to social development, to benefit the realization of the ideal career, to benefit students in their own businesses and rational allocation of human resources. It is conducive to economic and social country sustainable development.The purpose of this study is to start from choosing jobs of college students, undergraduates’ employment outlook survey and explore the correlation between the psychological capital, Big Five personality and college students’ employment outlook. The results show that college students’ employment outlook correlate positively with the psychological capital and Big Five personality respectively. Based on the results of this study, the aim is to put forward the suggestions and countermeasures from psychological capital, Big Five personality and college students’ career outlook education.This paper is divided into the following four parts:The first part is the introduction, the purpose and significance of the topic papers were reviewed and introduced ideas, research methods and research status of related research papers at home and abroad.The second part is to introduce college students’ employment outlook, psychological capital, Big Five personality contents, to define the relevant concepts, and to point out the significance of establishing a correct concept of career role.The third section is to select 412 college students as the research object in Harbin, to survey career outlook, psychological capital and the Big Five personality. The use of SPSS17.0 and AMOS7.0 statistical software for data processing, draw college students overall career outlook on the middle level, and college students’ employment outlook correlate positively with the psychological capital and Big Five personality respectivelyThe fourth part is to guide the contemporary college students to establish a correct concept of career suggestions and countermeasures. From the psychological capital, Big Five Personality and the education of college students’ career outlook, the aim is to establish scientific career view for students on education strategies.
