The purpose of this study is to explore the situation and the factors of junior college students' employment pressure,and to provide theoretical support for reducing the employment pressure of junior college graduates.This study Adopted Psychological Elasticity Scale,Simplified edition of China Big Five personality questionnaire and the revised employment pressure Questionnaire of junior college graduates on 596 junior college graduates from Fujian to explore the relationship between mental resilience,big five personality traits and employment pressure,and the results showed that:(1)The revised employment pressure Questionnaire of junior college graduates has17 items,including subjective psychological experience,behavioral performance and employment mood distress,the scale has good reliability and validity.(2)The employment pressure of junior college graduates mainly reflected in employment mood distress.The employment pressure has significantly difference in gender,locations,single-child.And the female,the student from the countryside,the non-only child have relatively larger employment pressure.Students with low psychological elasticity experience more stress.In the face of employment predicament,students with low psychological elasticity show more negative emotional response and persistent negative mood experiences.In the face of employment difficulties,high-neurotic students experience more stress,mainly showing more negative emotional response,negative mood experience and stress response behavior.Students with low neuroticism and low humanity show more stress coping behaviors.Introverted students are more tolerant of negative moods in the face of employment difficulties.(3)Optimism is not only a positive predictor of neuroticism,but also a positive predictor of employment stress.Neuroticism played a partial mediating role between optimism and employment stress.Conclusion: Neuroticism is an intermediate variable between optimism and employment stress.The results provide a basis for the employment pressure of college graduates,and also provide a new perspective for the study of psychological elasticity.
