The moods and emotions of educate in ideological and political education of college students can directly impact the internalizing effect and ideology and politics educational activities. In the process of the education, developing and training of emotional intelligence has the same purpose with it, which is able to optimize the five stages of cognition, emotion, faith, will and behavior. It has a connection with age stage psychological characteristics of college students group, at the same time, it still exists weak links in ideological and political education and emotion intelligence cultivation.The main part of ideological and political education, college teachers, should pay more attention to the usage of the function of emotions and feelings, in teaching and ideological working to train students’ positive emotion to promote the development of college student emotional intelligence. Education object also should grasp consciously of emotion management methods to maintain positive emotion and to face self negative emotion which improve the emotion recognition of self and others and the ability of regulation and control, it helps acquiring self integrated development and self-improvement.Emotional intelligence development of college student ideological and political education should be fully applied to the education carrier and enrich emotional intelligence development approach. The construction of emotion education and second classroom should be strengthened in campus activities and making full use of the educational function of campus soft environment to provide a good environment and healthy atmosphere, so as to promote college student emotional intelligence development,to promote the actual result of ideological and political education.
