With the change of domestic and international situation, ideological and political education among college students is facing an unprecedented challenge. “People-oriented” is required under the new situation of ideological and political education. Traditional forced-feeding teaching method, which means students learn passively, is now unable to meet the requirements of college students. On the contrary, it will generate students’ rebellious mentality. Experts are exploring new teaching methods to combine with the traditional methods, in order to come up to higher expectations of the ideological and political education. Among many methods, unconsciousness education can silently benefit the ideological and political education. However, the academics haven’t been clear enough about connotation and characteristics of unconsciousness education. This paper would analyze further on the connotation and characteristics of unconsciousness education of ideological and political education. Also, it would reveal the necessity of implementation of unconscious education in China’s ideological and political education during the new period.This paper begins with a questionnaire survey on the effectiveness of the ideological and political education from part of the college students. To evaluate the effects and problems of ideological and political education more accurately, multivariate statistical analysis method in Statistics is applied to analyze the data. A model of the effect can be established by the principal component analysis method and the education effect is arranged between-1.5 points to 1.5 points. If the section of 0-0.5 points is described as a good education results, the fraction of students below this section accounts for 51.02%. Thus it can be seen that the current ideological and political education has made certain achievement but more improvements are required. Then apply the multiple response cross analysis to select ten important variables in the questionnaire as factors. It can be analyzed which elements of which factors contribute more to the effect of ideological and political education, which can provide reference for the proposition of the improvement of unconscious education of the ideological and political education. Through the analysis of the statistics and application to the research of the ideological and political education, not only can evaluate the effects scientifically, but also can provide effective factors to the countermeasures and suggestions later. This is one of the innovations and strengthens of this paper.The main text is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, which mainly introduces the origin, significance, research status, research methods and innovation points. The second chapter introduces the connotations of unconscious education, including the distinctions between unconscious education and recessive education and five characteristics of unconscious education. The third chapter analyzes the current situation and problems of college students’ ideological and political education, mainly through two methods in Statistics. And it draws the necessity of unconscious education. The fourth chapter mainly proposed the improved methods. “Three-body-interaction” method is put forward and it probes into the teaching methods of unconscious education from three aspects. Firstly, give priority to forming ideological team of unconscious education and discuss how to lead the first-line counselors in colleges and how college instructors integrate unconscious education into teaching. Secondly, establish ideological class of unconscious education as the carrier. It main analyzes from the aspects of teaching methods and instructional modes, in order to help establish such classes. Thirdly, strengthen unconscious education in ideological and political environment to help the primary coverage. It deeply analyzes the atmosphere of unconscious education from both the soft and hard environment. The fifth chapter summarizes gaps and deficiencies of this paper.It is of vital theoretical and realistic significance to do researches on unconscious education of ideological and political education and combine the traditional teaching methods. From a theoretical perspective, it benefits a lot to expand the breadth and depth of the ideological and political education research by putting more efforts into researching on unconscious education. It can also open a new era for the education and continue to develop and enrich the theoretical treasure-house of the ideological and political education. From a practical perspective, making greater use of research findings of unconscious education helps strengthen the permeability and impact of ideological and political education and continuously enhance the initiative, pertinence and effectiveness of education.
