Structure And Characteristics Study On Task Execution Ability Of 3-6 Year Old Children

The task is defined that should be completed within the stipulated time according to the need of daily life and education. Task execution ability is an indispensable factor during the process of finishing the tasks and key factor for individuals to ensure that they can faithfully fulfill individuals’ obligations in special social relations. Task execution ability among children has the significant influence on the effects of task finishing. This kind of ability means importantly for children. Then what dimensions consists of children mission capability? How is task execution ability of contemporary children? What characteristics does children task execution ability have? These are all the urgent questions for us to solve.In this study 30 preschool teachers from two kindergartens in Shenyang were selected to be investigated and interviewed in order to construct the initial dimensions of task execution ability of children, then the basic structure of children task execution ability could be reached by using 300 children of two kindergartens as the objects and also with the assist of Teacher Assessment Questionnaire of Children Task Execution Ability evaluation and dealing the questionnaire by exploratory factor analysis.Then another 300 children of two kindergartens were selected and the structure of "Formal Teacher Assessment Questionnaire of Children’s Task Execution Ability" is validated through the method of confirmatory factor analysis. Finally, the rationality and credibility of questionnaire structure is validated through the experiment proved again. Age and gender differences of task execution ability of children aged 3-6 were being analyzed according to the results of the questionnaire and experimental. The following conclusions were got:First,3-6 year old children task execution ability mainly includes: awareness, understanding ability, observation ability, persistence and operation ability.Second, Characteristics on 3-6 year old children task execution ability :(1)3-6 years old children task execution ability gradually increases with the growth of age.(2) 3-6 years old children’s ability to perform tasks has the rapid development period. 5-6 is the rapid development period of children developing their ability to perform tasks.(3) 3-6 year old children task execution ability does not have significant gender differences.
