Objective:By investigating the quantitative changes of rat fat, fat-related metabolic and adaptors in the situation of hypoxia and hypoxia training, the paper aims to explore the mechanism how hypoxia influence body composition for weight loss.Method:Male SD rats of 8 weeks old, four groups:Normoxia stability group(control group) (NS), Normoxia training group (NT), Hypoxia stability group (HS), Hypoxia training group (HT). The environment of NS was 19-23℃, relative humidity 40-60%; air pressure of hypoxia groups was 12.5%,12 hours/day in the hypoxia chamber. Both NT and HT took part in running in the treadmill:the first week was adoptive training, the second week started regular training:elevation 10°, speed 25m/min, duration 60min/day,5d/w. No limitation of food and water for each group. After 3 weeks of regular training, measured the weight and body composition of rat; later, used blood serum, measured leptin concentration; white fat and brown fat was taken after executing rats. The method of RT-PCR was applied to investigate how HSL, ACC1 and PPAR-γ change.Result:1) weight:In the conditions of normoxia and hypoxia, NT and HT added less weight than NS and HS with significance (P<0.05); HT added less weight than NT with significance (P<0.05); HS added less weight than NS, however, without significance; the brown fat of HT was less than NT (P<0.05).3) body composition: the gain of fat and muscle in HS was less than HS with significance (P<0.05). Muscle weight in HT was less than HT with significance (P<0.05).4) Leptin:Its intensity in NT was higher than NS, while HS and HT were higher than NS.5) RT-PCR:HSL, ACC1 mRNA in the brown fat of NT expression was less than NS with significance (P<0.05); HSL mRNA in the white fat of HS expression was less than NS with significance (P<0.05).Conclusion:Hypoxia condition and exercise can control weight and fat increase. At the same time, maintain muscle percentage of body. Exercise that is in hypoxia condition, reduce fat weight more than exercise in normal condition. Meanwhile, white fat’s lipolysis speed is increased. At the same time, leptin secretion is increased in hypoxia condition.
