The contributions that education has made in science and cultural knowledge education can’t go unnoticed from the aspect of education. It is undeniable that ducation is to education human resouces with science and cultural knowledge and scientific spirit; but in the long run, exam-oriented education has deeply rooted in people’s mind, while humanistic education has been weakened, and the students show evident shortage in “humanistic education”; their standards of morality seem to be dropping, spiritual civilization is lacking and their sense of responsibility is weakening. Facing a variety of teaching methods, the teachers never give up to educate the students as a whole; but they can do little under the “studying for examination” environment to show their concern and respect for the students’ “humanity”.This thesis makes an analysis between exam-oriented education and humanistic educatiom. Exam-oriented education pays no attention to humanistic education, leading to deficiency in it, which has a negative effect on the society. there is some problem in education: humanistic education in the family,in the school and in the society.China Education Daily launched a big discussion about “Instrumental Peoperty and Humanity Go Together in Chinese”in September, 2011, which caused the education professionals to reflect on how to implement humanistic education. The author makes a deep thinking and analysis about the problems in school and social humanistic education: what on earth is the content of humanistic education in Chinses teaching, how we can implement humanistic education and what the principle of humanistic education is in Chinses teaching? At last, some successful examples in humanistic education have been listed to give some lessons to the professionals for them to make some reference and implement our education.Education is the headstone for our prosperity and social development, while the teaching of Chinese is the key in education and the bedstone for education. Chinese teachers shoulder the responsibility of educational development and the rise and fall of the country. So the Chinese teachers should not only emphasize the “instrumental peoperty”, but also attach great impotance to the students’ humanistic education, laying emphasis on “personality cultivation”, which is really worth researching and learning.
