The ideological and political education is one of the important parts of university postgraduate students’ education work.If postgraduate students’ ideological and political work, under the background of the economic globalization, the Internet and cloud computing is widely applied, is going to achieve significant results, the method of education becomes especially important.The development of science and technology and the confusion of the network ideological spreading cause a big impact to our traditional values and have a harmful influence for the postgraduate students’ the outlook on world, life and values. At the same time, the number of postgraduate students increasing, the decrease of the quality of the graduate student, individual differences, and diversity of postgraduate students’ thought cause that the task of postgraduate students’ ideological and political education becomes more and more onerous. The method of traditional postgraduate students’ ideological and political education is faced with a huge challenge. Therefore, the research of ideological and political education method of the colleges and universities postgraduate students is very urgent.In this work, the study of ideological and political education method of colleges and universities postgraduate students was carried out the bibliographical information and comparative analysis. On the basis of a lot of literature review and the domestic and external theory research was combed. the works were flowing: Firstly, the relevant concepts of ideological and political education method were clearly definite. Secondly, this paper expounds the current situation of university postgraduate student` ideological and political education method, and analyzes the respective advantages and disadvantages. The problem of university postgraduate students’ ideological and political education method in our country is analyzed. Such as, the theory is mainly very boring force-feeding knowledge education; education content is short of modernity; education carrier is disadvantage; the effectiveness of evaluation is poor. the United States, Germany, South Korea, Japan, and Singapore five countries of some of the ideological and political education were used for reference. Thirdly, put forward some suggestions of our country’s form of postgraduate students thought political education: To reform the traditional force-feeding knowledge education, the new method of education is the graduate students’ learning combined with teaching and scientific research; The ideological and political education infiltrated in professional teaching; Recessive education is strengthened; the methods of explicit and implicit education combining were opened up; The assessment system was set up and the assessment results were used. The research is contributed to reform postgraduate students ideological and political education in colleges and universities.
