Geography teaching material as an important part of teaching activity, is the teacher’s teaching and student learning and indispensable tool. "The text system", "image system" and "operating system" is the basic content of geography teaching material surface system. This paper based on the version o ’clock with Shanghai China geography teaching material comparative study on the surface system, clear the two version China geography teaching material in "the text system", "image system" and "operating system", the advantages and disadvantages of three system, through the induction summary, put forward to China’s geographic textbook improvement suggestion. The text system is used in geography teaching material text(including digital) to store and transmit information of a form, is an important part of geography textbook.
