Project Management Application In Higher Engineering Education Quality Control

Owing to China’s rapid economic development and the acceleration of internationalization process by the reform, various engineering projects increase rapidly,and the engineering technical personnel’s overall quality request will be higher than before.As the cradle of cultivating engineering talents, the number of engineering department in the colleges and universities is also rapidly increased,because the social demand for engineering and technical personnel.Since Enrollment expansion in 1999, the colleges and universities of our country has been into the stage of popular education stage from the elite education.However,the education condition, teaching staff and management system have not synchronous development,then how to ensure and improve the quality of higher engineering education, market competitiveness, improve the university engineering become the challenging issue facing the colleges and universities.Construction of quality control system of higher engineering education is not only the essential link of university engineering teaching management, but also an important means to optimize the teaching management, improve teaching quality, improve the quality of training engineering talents. Therefore, the establishment of the Higher Education Engineering Quality Control System is important to strengthen the teaching quality management in colleges and universities, ensure the quality of education and teaching, and guarantee the steady improvement of teaching quality. This paper studies the domestic and the foreign higher education of engineering quality control method. Considering the project management in the project control, total quality management and other modern quality management philosophy, we set up the Higher Education Engineering Quality Control System, which include The Teaching Organization Guarantee System, The Teaching Informationcollection System, The Teaching Information Processing and Analysis System. The Teaching Information Feedback System and Teaching Quality Evaluation System.The functions of the system are as follows: the teaching quality management objectives, teaching quality standard, information collecting and processing, teaching evaluation and information feedback.In the paper, by constructing to guarantee and improve the quality of higher engineering education of adaptive system, the project management in project control and project quality management method has been applied to the quality control of higher engineering education. Our job applied the project management theory of quality control in higher engineering education, still need further improvement and perfection.
