Nowadays, one of the most creativity active development periods is when people study in the university, this period has some specific features from other period. The structure and characteristics of university students’ creativity research, this is not only the psychology system needs, and it is very important to university students’ themselves, especially for the university students’ creativity’s development and training. At present, domestic creativity research scale is mostly use foreign existing scale translation, based on foreign scale and then editing to fit our test revision scale is in the minority, specially apply to the university students creativity scale is rare. This research aims to build an applicable scale and model to fit university students’ creativity activity, and to investigate the characteristics of Chinese university students’ creativity and the differences between the groups.This research based on Many scholars’ researches and hundreds theory of creativity, and then combined with actual interviews to select university students’ creativity scale project and preliminary establishment, and then preliminary survey of 221 Fuzhou university students, also analysis data of project, eliminate the low differentiate part of project, finally create the official questionnaire of<The university students’ creativity questionnaire>. In the formal test using stratified sampling method, SPSS18.0 Statistical software analysis of all the data, and also through AMOS 18.0 software for verification factor analysis and model construction, comprise involve "divergent thinking", "comprehensive ability", "personality" three factors, The model of the university students’creativity has 16 sectors. The statistical analysis results indicated that the questionnaire was reliable and valid with goodness of fit.The result of data analysis, University students’ creativity level is not significantly difference between men and women, but different grades and professional have remarkable differences.In the overall level of creativity, for the grades difference part, highest level in first year in university, and then the Junior and senior student, sophomore is lowest level; For the professional difference part, highest level is art students, followed by the liberal arts, science and engineering students, and economy students is lowest level. And then compared with the total score and dimensions of the creativity, it is concluded that the more subtle differences conclusion, and also explain these differences. Through the research of university students’ creativity structure and the characteristics of the development, it can speculate the present situation of the creativity students’ development; this project puts forward how to strengthen and cultivation of university students’ creativity education level and also support some useful countermeasure and suggestions.
