The Practical Research Of Primary School Science Activity Curriculum Based On The Science Museum Resources

With the constant development of science and technology, science education was more and more important. As an important place to implement science education, the Science Museum contained rich curriculum resources. Integrating the museum resources and the school science curriculum to develop science curriculum based on the Science Museum resources with the basis of school, had the vital significance to achievement the school science curriculum goal of cultivating students’ scientific literacy, and implement the task of the new curriculum reform to enrich the learning experience and improve the way of learning, and research the development of school-based curriculum. Therefore, the paper tried to discuss the designing of the primary school science activity curriculum based on the Science Museum resources, on the basis of present situation of school using the museum resources and the educational value of the Science Museum resources.The paper was divided into five parts. In the first part, the author put forward the purpose and the content of the study through the analysis of the related literature at home and abroad. In the second part, the author had conclusion that the Science Museum resources had educational value and were of significance to achievement the science curriculum goal through the analysis of the primary school natural science curriculum standard and the museum resources. In the third part, the author discussed the present situation of school using the museum resources through the methods of teacher interviews and the analysis of 18 curriculum projects based on the art museum resources. In the fourth part, the author discussed the design of the of primary school science activity curriculum based on the Science Museum resources, and put forward that the design of the science museum activity curriculum should follow the principle of relying on curriculum resources of the Science Museum, corresponding to the primary school natural science curriculum standard, taking primary school as the basis and students as the center and activities as the carrier. Then, the author discussed the content of the curriculum project, and designed a science curriculum based on the Shanghai Museum of Natural History resources to provide reference for museum activity curriculum project design. In the fifth part, the author summarized the results and the insufficiency of the study, and raised the expectations for future study.
