The Study Of College Students’ Characteristics And Countermeasures Of Religious Belief Issues On The Current Situation

This article is divided into five chapters. In the first and second chapter, we summed up characteristics of college students’ religious beliefs and analyzed the college students’ religious beliefs briefly, based on the study of existing literatures and interviews, observations, inductions of religion in colleges. In the third chapter, we generalized the situations of college students’ religious beliefs through investigations in parts of colleges in Hebei province. What’s more, new characteristics of college students’ religious beliefs were analyzed in the fourth chapter. At last, we put forward some specific suggestions about how to deal with college students’ religious beliefs.Based on a lot of literature studies, the author found the fact that the issue of college students’ religious beliefs have been increasingly prominent, which is the realistic problem that is urgently to be solved. On the basis of existing research fruits, through the study of parts of colleges in Hebei, the author found some problems about religion, such as lack of religious knowledge among staffs in colleges, deficient awareness of importance of education management, lack of intense efforts in education management of students in non-governmental colleges. In the current situation, the religious groups strengthen the spread of religions in social life. People’s social behaviors have shown certain acceptance to religious cultures. The college students are easy to accept religious elements in behaviors and vulnerable to be used by religions psychologically. In this case, the religious groups intensify the religious spread among college students by information technologies. Some college believers carry out religious activities in colleges and neighborhoods around, sometimes by Internet. The heresy groups also tend to influence college students. All of these put forward new challenges to education management of college students.Combined with the actual situations in college students’ religious issues in Hebei, the author analyzed the intense situations of education management in colleges. And also, some specific and practical countermeasures and suggestions have been put forward from aspects such as system construction in colleges, construction of student management team, atmosphere of cultural activities in colleges. Firstly, we should make use of laws and manage religious issues by the following measures, such as establishing religious management institutions under leadership of party committees in colleges, intensifying propaganda and guidance of laws, policies of religions and cracking down the illegal religious activities and penetration behaviors. Secondly, we can strengthen the team construction of education managements of college students from the following aspects: enhancing Marxism education among the counselors in colleges, intensifying Marxism training among student backbones and reinforcing team construction of campus network management. Thirdly, we make the advanced socialist culture occupy the position of campus culture activities through these measures: enriching connotations of campus culture, intensifying “filtration” of religious elements in college cultural activities, giving full play to positive guidance of social organizations of college students.
