Construction and development of community park provides the convenient space and place for parent-child outdoor activities. Parents and preschool children using the on-site abundant education resources to promote children’s physical, emotional, language, intelligence and other aspects of development in the process of community park activities, and lay a solid foundation for the children’s healthy growth. It has a very important significance for both parents and preschool children.In this study, on the basis of comprehensive combing of literature at home and abroad, using the field survey, questionnaire, observation, interview, taking community park in five urban district of Chengdu as example, the present situation and influencing factors of parents use community park to educate the children of 3-6 years old were investigated and analyzed.Community park resources which parents can use(contains resource types and characteristics of community park), the current situation of exploitation of parents(contains parents recognition, parent-child outdoor activity time, activity space, types of activity, activity form) and the influencing factors of parents use(contains family, community park and other factors), from the several aspects, this paper discussed and analyzed.Through study and analysis, we can draw the following conclusions. 1. Community park has a rich variety of resources, and use diversity, but the education value is hidden, parents need careful excavation and intentional use; 2. Parents basic recognition the educational significance of community park, especially for the meaning of preschool children’s health and social development, grandparents have higher recognition than that of their parents, but the initiative education consciousness is not enough; 3. The chance of parent-child activities to the community park is more, the average time of 1-2 hours, parents and children mainly in the weekend to visit; 4. Square and such open spaces are the first choice for parent-child outdoor activities, parents pay more attention to parent-child communication and social development of children; 5. Sports play is the priority of activity type, and different children’s age with different parent-child activity type; 6. Parents do not have a high level of participation in activities, the lower level of the father; 7. The environmental problem of community park is the primary factor influencing the parents to use; 8. Parents in the community park insufficient respect for the autonomy of the children; 9. Management and construction of community park needs to be improved.The researcher according to the above conclusions puts forward suggestions. Parents should fully understand the education significance of community park for 3-6 years old children, change awareness of outdoor activities for children safety; At the same time, parents learn to reflect on, improve their education quality, and actively interact with the children in the game activities, especially the male parent; Community park should fully consider the needs of 3-6 years old children, strengthen supervision and management of the park; Kindergarten, parents, community, and community park should work together to make efforts to preschool education.
