The Internet provides the teenagers an access to knowledge and a platform of communication as well as entertainment, bringing a very broad field for their development. With the arrival of the Internet age, however, the moral issues involving network constantly appeared.Nowadays, the new style of life constructed by network has great impact on junior middle school students’ cognition, emotion, thoughts and psychology. Websites have informative and instructive content, which, meanwhile, contain the superstitious, unhealthy or even the pornographic information. Due to the limitations of psychology, physiology, cognitive level, the unhealthy information on line produces obvious adverse effects on adolescents’ life and study. It also affects their moral traits. In some serious cases, it even not only leads to deviant behavior and moral anomie online, but also causes some social problems. Therefore, how to guide the students to learn about self-discipline and regulate their individual behavior on line is a new topic to be studied for the improvement of moral education in junior middle school in new era.In order to study the existing problems on moral education of junior middle school and develop the related countermeasures, the main research methods of this paper are literature review and questionnaires. By literature review, the paper presents the formation and the overview of domestic and international study on network moral education. It also point out existing problems in junior middle schools’ network moral education and their countermeasures. Besides the introduction, the paper is divided into four parts:In the first part, the significance and necessity of network moral education are indicated in junior middle school and the phenomenon which is worth reflecting is also analyzed. In addition, the features of the moral education for contemporary junior students and the significance of the network moral education for them is described.In the second part, the paper focus on the brief introduction and existing problems in network moral education implemented in Guangzhou No.17 Middle School. It is highlighted the problems and confusion in the earlier implementation network moral education in the school in which the author works.In the third part, attribution analysis of the existing problems in the network moral education in Guangzhou No.17 Middle School is performed. The important reasons for the problems in network moral education are pointed out from different aspects, including society, school and students. The reasons are as followed: The network moral education has not in the school education system. Diverse network environments produce moral imbalance. The growth and development of the junior middle school students has it own unique features.The fourth part, based on the premise that the characteristics of the teacher evaluation are fully understood, the paper studies the related methods that can be implemented to solve the existing problems of network moral education. It also has some consideration and suggestion on the existing problems and its countermeasures in network moral education. It puts forward some suggestions as followed: Strengthening the external restraint system on network morality, improving qualities of teachers who need to work on network moral education, building a moral education union by schools, families, and the society.
