Ordinary high school education is the bridge of the nine-year compulsory education and higher education, It plays an important role on improving the quality of workers, improving the social and cultural accomplishment, conveying talents for colleges and universities. But now, the vast majority of schools which are under the pressure of exam-oriented education pay more attention to the results and ignore the labor education. Curriculum is very full and students have no time to attend the work class and exercise class.the school also don’t organize students to take part in social public welfare labor effectively, students just are to be on duty and do some cleaning for laboring. It is because of the lack of labor education in school that causes the attitude of paying more attention to learning and less to labor. The Weak consciousness of youth employment, poor labor ability, and even unearned phenomenon can be seen everywhere. This phenomenon is especially pronounced among high school students in the city. Therefore, with luzhou senior high school as an example, this article analyzes the problems existing in the current labor education students, to explore out a way that can promote the change of city labor education management and the change of the management mode and a way that students can participate in the variety forms of labor education.I hope it can and make contribution to improving the quality of the laborers,improving the social and cultural accomplishment, and developing the all-round development of comprehensive talent cultivation.According to the actual situation, this paper make a survey of labor education present situation in 15 regular classes of senior school, 600 students and 200 parents through the questionnaire investigation, discussion and case study. The Respondents are the high school three grade students and their parents. The investigation is based on the test of labor education and tests the four aspects: the students’ attitude of labor, labor habit, labor sense and labor views. The results showed that in terms of students attitude, many students think that learning is the primary,and labor has noconnection with their all-round development, so they often hold the neglectful manner; In terms of labor habit, many students have developed the poor habit of "live on the labor of others”, thinking labor is other people’s business, unearned phenomenon can be seen everywhere; In terms of labor consciousness of students and ideas, many students have little labor conscious, labor ability is poor. In addition, in the survey of parent, we found that because of the improvement of economic level, parents spoil their children,and demand too much for children’s achievement, but ignore the cultivation of the children’s work habits. Many parents agree on the child labor education only in the ideological, but in real life, is not the case. Focus on these phenomena, the author analyze luzhou senior high school of labor education status, found that the labor education lacks its rightful place in the school education, the labor education only has a single way, and too formalized. students do not have enough working space.Makarenko said, the famous education theorists and practitioners, revolutionist in the Soviet union in the 20 th century, labor education is not only good for the improvement of the society, also is good for the all-round development of students; Also, schools are the main places of student labor education, family is an important auxiliary of student labor education. Therefore, the author thinks that improving the labor education management mode in urban ordinary high school is imminent.
