At present,China’s "double first-class" construction has entered a substantial stage, and first-class undergraduate education is the basic feature and important foundation of "double first-class" construction. The construction of first-class undergraduate education requires the support of corresponding educational organization models. The modern college academy system is an innovative model of the current talent training model of colleges and universities in China, and it is also a new model of undergraduate education organization. Therefore, this article focuses on the modern college academy system as a center to study the first-class undergraduate education organization model in China. This article comprehensively uses the methods of literature research, text analysis and case study to analyze the three stages of development, based on the analysis of the rise about the college academy system in China--the initial stage of development mainly based on universities in Hong Kong and Macao(1963-Early 21 st century);Spontaneous exploration stage of singles fighting in mainland universities(2005-2014);The exchange and mutual learning stage of college cooperation(2014 to present).Judging from the implementation status of the college academies in 55 universities, the number of colleges in colleges and universities is growing rapidly at present, the types of colleges are becoming more diversified and the differences are obvious, and some new colleges worth paying attention to have appeared. The organizational model of college academies in China can be divided into four types according to factors such as coverage grade, student size, accommodation model, relationship between academy and college. The common characteristics of these four types are: a mentor system that focuses on teacher-student interaction;building a common living community, adopting the student mixed residence model;and the two major educational organizations operating in parallel with the college. At present, there are still some outstanding problems that need to be solved in the implementation of the college system in modern universities in China: first, the dual separation of the college and the academy leads to difficulties in coordination;second, the separation of the learning space and the living space leads to the difficulty of integration;third, coordination problem of the students organization and the academic system;the fourth is how the academy education can benefit more students fairly. The thesis compares and analyzes the three typical academies’ organizational models, such as the academy’s spirit and organizational model of ancient Chinese academies, the "accommodation college" organizational model of the Western Classical University, and the academy’s academic organization model of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.Summarizes and summarizes the common features of the academy organization model. That is,the academy organization model is highly related to the educational concept;the academy has relatively independent rights;the academy and the professional college are independent, parallel, and coordinated;the teachers and students are both affiliated with the academy and the professional college, and implement the mixed residence model.Based on the common characteristics of the above three typical academies, the paper proposes reform proposals to improve the college academy system based on the main problems in the operation of the college academy system.First, based on national conditions and school conditions, cultivate the concept of academy education;second, build a scientific organizational structure and innovate the governance system of the academy; The third is to improve the formation of the mentor team and enhance the support of the mentor system;the fourth is the joint education of the "two schools" to achieve a high degree of unity in teaching, living and cultural space.
