Research On The Management System And Operation Mechanism Of Affiliated Agricultural Universities’ International Students

With the implementation of China’s reform and opening policy, the opening degree is deepening. As a result, international students education developing continuously in recent years, students from other countries come to study in China increasingly, thus the international students education problems caused the attention of our government. Consider the current situation as a whole, our government take active actions to make positive policies in order to attract students from different countries, government also organized university delegations to different countries. Take international students of Agricultural Universities Affiliated to the Ministry of Education in China(hereafter referred to as affiliated Agricultural University) as the research object, it mainly discusses the international student’s management system and operation mechanism, understand the present situation and existing problems of international student education in affiliated agricultural universities, and analyze related factors, besides, learning successful practices of the management of international students from other universities, and combine the characteristics of the students and universities, then put forward proper suggestions, in order to promote the development of international students education.This study on the basis of predecessors’ research combed the related content of international students education in colleges and universities, to understand the present international students education situation of our country’s universities. Research take two affiliated agricultural universities as example, choose 144 graduate students as the research object, through questionnaire and interviewing methods, to understand the international students’ life conditions and life satisfaction, and analyze international students from different angles of management system and operation mechanism and its influencing factors, in turn, according to the research conclusion, put forward relevant suggestions from the aspects of teaching management, management system and operation mechanism, to explore management system and operation mechanism of international students in agricultural university.Comprehensive research results show that:(1)The Affiliated Agricultural university international students mainly from Asian countries, doctoral students as the main body, and most of the students are scholarship students.(2) The students’ satisfaction in school hardware and software is good, but there are still some students failed to achieve learning goals after coming to China.(3) International students education management and Chinese students are different, but at present, the "special treatment" now is still the dominant way of education.(4) The international student’s study is in a passive way.According to the research results can conclude that affiliated Agricultural Universities need to change the status quo of international student management, and develop in the direction of "assimilation" management, at the same time schools should integrate the advantage resources, standardization of teaching work, and improve the management mechanism, and from the aspects of policy, adjust the operation mechanism of international students. The purpose of this study is to help affiliated Agricultural Universities to improve international student management system and operation mechanism, and lay a good foundation in order to help universities realize internationalization in the future.
