Swimming lifeguard is the important human resource for a swimming pool/venue. Working performance of swimming lifeguard is influenced by his/her job satisfaction, and will impact normal running of swimming pool/venue as well as safety of swimmers. As state capital, Beijing is considered as the political, economic and cultural core of China who has Haidian Dis., Chaoyang Dis., Dongcheng Dis. and Xicheng Dis, as her city central area. Within this area, number of both swimming venues/pools and safeguards, as well as their facility quality and working performance is relatively higher than other areas’. Research toward swimming safeguards of this area can be served as representative of this theme and the concluded result related is of significance.With this background, the paper initiated and collected data from swimming safeguards, within the 4 mentioned districts, for the situation and summary of their job satisfaction.9 aspects and angles of analysis toward job satisfaction are used, according to concept, theory and study structure of the term "job satisfaction" as well as the study methods of documentary research, questionnaires and data statistics. Current situation of swimming safeguards job satisfaction has been concluded, recommendation and policies has been made based on the difference among the 4 districts, demographic variability and work-related variability.It is concluded that, overall job satisfaction of swimming safeguards within 4 districts gets rating of average. Satisfaction rating from the highest to the lowest are:employment type, co-workers relationships, supervisor, communication, rules and regulations, welfare benefits, bonus, salary, promotion opportunity. Satisfaction rating particularly higher on employment type, co-workers relationships, supervisor and communication; rating average on rules and regulations, welfare benefits and bonus; salary and promotion opportunity are both dissatisfied, comparing with other index. Job satisfaction of swimming safeguards from 4 districts are differentiated from district, demographic and work-related variability.
