Research On The Characteristics Of The 16th CUBA Cheerleading Of Northeast

The Chinese University Basketball Association is one of the most influential competitions within China. Meanwhile cheerleading has become an crucial component of the CUBA competition, enhancing is entertainment function and diversify its content. In this paper, literature, expert interviews, questionnaires, field survey research methods, etc., in order to participate in the Beijing and Tianjin, six universities of the 16th Chinese University Basketball Association (CUBA) men’s group of cheerleaders for the study on CUBA cheerleading characteristics and training issues related to research methods. This study can provide for college cheerleading performances and theoretical training to improve cheerleading in college influence, thus contributing to the Campus Sports Culture. The outcomes of this research are as following:(1) The schedule of CUBA cheerleading performance is theoretically regular while irregular in practice. The performance area is confirmed in advance, thus the area features should be considered during pre-trainings. CUBA cheerleaders and CBA, NBA cheerleaders show time and venue has a high degree of similarity.(2) Most members within cheerleading teams are majored in sports exhibition. They are experienced and most of them have bachelor degrees. Besides, these cheerleading team members are mainly engaged in aerobic career. There are more male members than female. They all pay high attention to the training and developing of professional skills. CUBA cheerleading members are from school, and CBA, NBA cheerleaders members were more from the basketball club and the community.(3) The movement elements from aerobic, modern dance, jazz and Hip-Hop construct the majority of CUBA cheerleading performance, with few other types of movements linking. Every college and university has built the cheerleading teams and spent a lot in practice and performance arrangement.(4) The music of CUBA cheerleading are mostly foreign music or pop music. The interaction normally in the form of hand-waving and slogans. Sometimes, gifts and interactive games are also applied.(5) CUBA clothing characteristic for cheerleaders cheerleading costume’s main color is red and blue, elastic material and sequins material is the main material of cheerleading costume. Red is CUBA cheerleader to adopt in the process of performing more and other items with interwoven in the show.
