A Comparative Research Of Ecological Civilization Education Path In Universities

On the background of the ecological civilization construction integrated into the "five in one" socialism with Chinese characteristics, in order to better carry out the ecological civilization education of college students, agro-forestry and normal universities which have important responsibilities and play an important role in carrying out the ecological civilization education for college students were selected and compared. Through analyzing the holistic, general and specific characters of the ecological civilization education paths in two kinds of universities, it is found that the overall situation of agro-forestry universities is better than that in normal universities, especially on school activities and publicity advantages. Moreover, these two kinds of universities both have good staffs and the activities of ecological type both can be carried out according to their own characteristics. However, they are both facing the problems about the lacking of professional teachers, a low ecological activity participation rate of students as well as the insufficiency of special departments and administrators etc. Finally, according to the theories of ideological and political education and communication studies, suggestions from the aspect of classroom teaching, school activity, school publicity and school management were presented. It is hoped that this paper can provide some reference for the continuous optimization and innovation of ecological civilization education path in universities.
