The evaluation of teaching of music is indispensable in the teaching work, is important to measure the level about students’ musical learning, is an important means to supervise and improve the teaching quality of music educators, it is one of important way to promote the education of all-round quality, but also an important part of the research about scientific educational.Now, the evaluation of teaching of music is not only more important in-depth study and analysis of the educated evaluation, but also in the junior middle school. This paper attempts to use the literature research, comparative research, analysis, investigation,interview, and sum up, etc. Summarizing the evaluation of musical teaching in junior middle school and summarizing the results about the evaluation of teaching of music,discussing the problems of the junior middle school about the evaluation of teaching of music,putting forward to the improving strategies correspondingly.Firstly, the researcher studies and analyzes the evaluation of education, teaching evaluation and evaluation on teaching of music, and summarizes the relevant concepts.For the former researching and combining investigated results of the junior school about evaluation of teaching of music, the author summarizes up the concept and summary it.Secondly, the researchers makes investigation and interviews to the junior middle school music teaching evaluation. For the evaluation of learning of music, the author uses the method of questionnaire survey, sending 300 questionnaires. For the evaluation of music teachers, the author uses the interviewing method, interview the research school music teachers, teaching director, the principal interviews. The purpose of the investigation is to find the problems in the junior middle school evaluation of music teaching, improve the existing problems, and promote the quality of music teaching in junior high school.Besides, the researchers summary the presented problem on the junior high school music teaching evaluation survey results and propose the corresponding improvement strategy. The author use inductive method for this part of the exposition.In purpose,it ensures the amount of class of junior high school students’ music learning,is useful for bringing up the establishment of students’ self-confidence, let ting students understand their learning, promoting music learning progress and the students and music education skills of the long-term development.In 2014, the Ministry of Education points out from the document “on the promotion of development of art education” the courses of art are not less than the total hours of art course of 20% in the compulsory education stage. Music education opens a new chapter.
