Instrumental music teaching is an important part of music education in primary and secondary schools. Since the foundation of people’s Republic of China is established, especially the reform of opening up to the outside world, junior middle school instrumental music education has made the continuous development and progress.The Chinese colored junior middle school classroom instrumental music teaching system has been established, training a large number of qualified personnel adapting to the needs of instrumental music teaching in junior middle school.It contributes a lot to the construction and development of junior middle school music curriculum. However, there are still some problems that need to be solved in the teaching of instrumental music teaching in junior middle schools of our country, which seriously affects the quality and level of education. Therefore, based on "compulsory education music course standard", the paper try to analyze the instrumental music teaching situation of two junior middle school Chongqing University City, using field survey and questionnaire methods, putting the first and third middle school in Chongqing University City as an example to analyze and assess the problems and teaching quality of junior middle school music teaching in our country in order to put forward ideas and suggestions to improve the junior high school music teaching, which can improve the instrumental music teaching quality and level in Chines junior high school so as to adapt to the needs of training of personnel quality education in the new period of all-round development. It has important theoretical and practical significance.Overall, the main work of this paper includes:Based on the theoretical study, the paper analyzes the general situation of classroom instrumental music teaching in junior middle school. This paper will analyze the basic concepts, basic principles and related teaching elements of the instrumental music teaching in junior middle school, and grasp the basic situation of instrumental music teaching in primary schools in China.Based on the analysis of the situation, this paper tries to analyze the present situation of classroom teaching in junior middle school according to the teaching facts in Chongqing University City in order to analyzesinstrumental music teaching problems and deficiencies of Chinese current junior middle school classroom and to summarize the causes of the existing problems of our junior middle school classroom music teaching.Focusing on the quality of teaching, the evaluation index system and evaluation model of Junior high school classroom instrumental music teaching has been established. Putting the first and the third middle school in Chongqing University City as an example, this paper evaluate the quality of teachingand offers a reference for the evaluation of teaching quality in junior middle school classroom.In order to improve the instrumental music teaching in junior middle school, based on the problem analysis and quality evaluation of instrumental music teaching in junior high school, this paper put forwards corresponding countermeasures and measuresfrom two aspects of the construction of hard and soft power.
