With the progress of science and technology, more and more social areas acquire great changes and developments. Meanwhile, new science and technology also have impacts on traditional teaching models. More new teaching ideas and models, such as the representatives of flipping classroom and mobile learning, are gradually into man’s sights, which will inevitably lead to great changes and reforms in education in the future. The teaching reforms and researches of flipping classroom and mobile learning that are set in colleges and universities have more incomparable advantages than those in fundamental education. There are abundant teaching resources and sufficient software and hardware environment in colleges and universities that offer material foundation for flipping classroom and mobile learning. Besides, college students have comparatively profound theoretical basis, self-learning ability and self-improving awareness, which provide a strong premise and guarantee for developing flipping classroom in colleges and universities.Based on probing the connotations of flipping classroom and mobile learning, this thesis uses JAVA Language to develop We Chat Public Platform for the second time by combining with the research status of flipping classroom and mobile learning abroad and at home. According to the features of college curriculums, this thesis puts forwards and designs flipping classroom’s teaching models based on mobile learning. Besides, the thesis implements a short-term specific teaching practice based on We Chat Public Platform in the curriculum of Economics Principles in Grade 2014, Class two that major in Information Management and the thesis masters the feedback data by questionnaire survey. Through analyzing the factor analysis of feedback data in 17.0 Chinese version, this thesis concludes that the flipping classroom teaching model based on mobile learning has obviously stimulant functions for cultivating students’ self-education ability, active participation and their ability of retelling. To some degree, the desired effects of students’ liking degree for this model and the characteristics of mobile learning whenever and wherever possible have been achieved. Because the thesis just implements a short-term teaching practice and the model is influenced by traditional factors, for aspect of systemic learning and deeply mastering knowledge, the model doesn’t highlight the advantages for students and the students still have positive attitudes for the teaching model combined flipping classroom with mobile learning.Through the application research, this thesis concludes as following. Firstly, flipping classroom teaching model based on We Chat Public Platform has obvious advantages for promoting students’ self-education and active participation. Secondly, the learning characteristics of mobile learning whenever and wherever possible have been improved and students’ learning initiatives have been improved effectively. Admittedly, because this model is influenced by traditional teaching models and students’ learning habits, to popularize flipping classroom teaching model based on We Chat Public Platform in colleges and universities, we need to do more researches and more teaching practice. There is a long way to go but we believe that the future is bright.
