With the State Council promulgating the "Implementation Plan of National Vocational Education Reform",the society has required higher ability for vocational school students.However,it is still difficult for secondary vocational schools to recruit students.For many students have learning difficulties,teachers are bewildered by the phenomenon.Students' low motivations in learning directly lead to teaching inefficiency.This made students unadaptable to their personnel training,which is the main problem facing in secondary vocational schools.To stimulate students' motivation and improve the efficiency of classroom teaching,a four-step teaching model was designed,and the teaching model based on flip class was improved.This study aims to use the multifunction of a public application platform WeChat,a free application that students prefer to use during the teaching periods under the design and model.Moreover,it was applied to VI Design,a typical integrated course for graphic design major taught by the author.The study proposes a four-step teaching model based on WeChat public platform,namely,pre-class teaching preparation-pre-class knowledge learning-in-class skill practice-after-class knowledge and skill internalization enhancement,and expounds the function and construction steps of each step.In this essay we also discuss the development mode of learning resources based on WeChat public platform,and introduce the production ideas of video resources and graphic resources.The feasibility studies of WeChat public platform applied to the teaching of professional courses in secondary vocational schools show that both students and teachers think it is feasible.Subsequently,a research on the application of WeChat public platform in the teaching of specialized courses was carried out in a secondary specialized school in Guiyang.Two classes of graphic design major in the school participated in a two-month teaching experiment.After the experiment,learning attitude of the students in two classes,participation in tasks,pass rate and excellence rate were analyzed.The experimental class was better than the control class in three aspects.The research proves that WeChat public platform assists secondary vocational school classroom teaching to improve classroom teaching efficiency,improve students' learning achievement and improve students' autonomous learning ability.
