According to the rapid development of network technology,which are pushing us into a media society,and its increasingly large family of media and media information are influencing the public’s thinking, behavior and social development paradigm in a full-fledged way. Based on the circumstances of media society.So this article centered around ideological and political education theory teachers; it also takes the relations between the media literacy and personal and career development, as well as the promoting of the teachers’ media literacy and effectiveness of their classes as foothold. Around the basic question of that what media literacy is the ideological and political theory teachers should get and how to cultivate. Thus we can have a further discussion of the value, content and strategy of fostering media literacy in ideological and political theory teachers in colleges. The article above which it contain three parts:Chapter one:The related theory of fostering media literacy in ideological and political theory teachers in colleges. This part is the logic start of this article, it aims to making a scientific definition of the essential questions of fostering media literacy in ideological and political theory teachers in colleges and universities. It systematically explains some essential questions like the value and content of media literacy of ideological and political theory teachers in colleges and universities, it also clarifies the study theory and practical significance of fostering media literacy in ideological and plitical theory teachers in colleges.Chapter two:The existing problems and cause analysis of media literacy in ideological and political theory teachers in colleges. This part is the logic in the term, it is based on the first part to analyze the existing problems and their causes of fostering media literacy in ideological and political theory teachers in colleges.Chapter three:The strategies to promote media literacy of ideological and political theory teachers in universities. This part is the logic ending point and research purpose, it proposed some strategies for fostering media literacy in ideological and political theory teachers in colleges and universities based on chapter two.
