In view of the present situation of Chinese reading in senior high school students, this thesis focuses on how to cultivate the students’ subjective reading ability, and carry out the theoretical basis for inquiry and put forward the corresponding countermeasures.Through a large amount of questionnaires, this work firstly summarizes some students’ performances with poor subjectivity reading skills, such as the insufficient self-consciousness; little interest in text reading and lacking of in-depth thinking; students’ reading experience short of personalized features. There are two main reasons for this rigorous situation. From the students’ aspect, they lack of intrinsic reading motivation, thus could not enjoy the full-reading pleasure. Additionally, both the "formula" classroom of teaching model and the inaccurate analysis of Chinese teachers severely hinder the subjectivity of students reading ability. Based on the new Chinese curriculum standard requirements, we will present further discussion on how to develop students’ reading ability from the foundation of constructivism theory, reception aesthetics theory, humanism theory and dialogue theory. This work investigates the essence of the subject reading ability and the ways of training from the two aspects of theory and practice.According to the author, from the following five aspects to develop the subjectivity of the students reading ability, cultivate the students’ consciousness of reading motivation and self-monitoring ability; set the value of the topic, arouse students’ horizon of expectations; to create a fair and democratic atmosphere in the dialogue, encourage students to talk freely; improve the consciousness of students participating in the "I", respect their individual understanding; to break the traditional single evaluation methods, guide students to enjoy the pleasure of reading.
