As a vital part of the national economic activities, logistics industry plays a more and more important role in promoting the rise of social and economic benefits due to its demand of employed population and involving extensive domains. Also for this reason, it thus laid an important foundation for the sustained, healthy and stable development of national economy. The Introduction of the National Economic and Social Development in Fujian Province Twelfth Five-Year Plan has enhanced the development of modern logistics industry, positioning to the height of the leading industry and basic industry again. Relying on the advantages of the great natural conditions in Fujian Province, the unique geographical strengths, special regional advantages, and good environment for the development of socio-economic, the modern logistics industry in Fujian has gained a certain development. While, modern logistics industry cannot develop fully without the supporting of the professionals especially high end talent. With the advent of the acceleration of the pace of economic integration in the global economy and the knowledge-based economy, there is a growing demand for modern logistics industry in Fujian Province in the boost. So, it is inevitable to be confronted with the disparity between supply and demand for the professionals and senior talent, which restricts the speed and stability in the development of modern logistics industry in Fujian. It is urgent that we should formulate a scientifical logistic talents program in Fujian to alleviate the contradiction between supply and demand of talent and meet the demand of industry development, which has become a key research topic. However, the premise and foundation of the tanlents program is the requirement forecast. Based on this, this article is focused on the personnel requirement forecasting of the logistics industry in Fujian.Firstly, the background, significance, research actuality and correlation theory of the research has been systematiclly pectinated and described in this article. Secondly, the author analysed the present condition for both logistics industry in Fujian and the talent of the industry. The logistics industry in Fujian develops rapidly. Although the scale of logistics industry personnel expand gradually and adjust its personnel structure to the market constantly, it still cannot meet the demand for talent of Fujian logistics industry. What’s more, using the Analytic Hierarchy Process to analyze the factors influencing the demand for talent of Fujian logistics industry, the author concluded that the region’s GDP, investment in fixed assets of the logistics industry and the trade volume have much influence on the demand for talent of Fujian logistics industry. Thus, the article selects the gray model GM (1,1) and the combination of BP neural network model to predict the logistics industry demand for talent in Fujian between the period from 2012 to 2020.The prediction results indicates that the demand for talent of Fujian logistics industry increases every year and will reach about 19 million in 2020, which is 80,000 more than that in 2011. The main prediction results show us huge pressure in cultivating talent in logistics industry in the next 9 years. Finally, in order to speed up the personnel training of logistics industry in Fujian and relieve the pressure for the supply, the article provides relevant suggestions from the following six aspects, capital investment, resource sharing, training methods improvement, market improving, talent introduction and optimization of incentive.
