| Firstly, by the object of adult residents, this study in order to know the current level of learning of them, including knowledge, skills, attitudes, behavior, and found the basic situation of the residents about the needs for environmental education through questionnaires. Then, further tap the relevant factors affecting the educational needs of the residents through in-depth interviews and observations, combined with the data, the theory of learning needs and adult learning to analysis the intrinsic link between each other. Finally, based on the findings, put forward some relevant suggestions on how to better serve and guidance the needs of residents, in order to provide a basis for the resources development of community environmental education, improve the environmental knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviors of residents.The first chapter is on the concept interpretation and literature review, aims to looking for theoretical basis and valuable research points by reviewing previous studies, and frame the scope of this study by definition of the relevant concept. The second chapter focuses on the design steps of this study to reproduce the whole story of research process, provide a reference for the future research. Chapter III as the full survey results, with questionnaires data and interviews text, focusing on presentation and analysis of the environmental learning level, environmental education needs of residents, and the support safeguards. Chapter IV dig current data and information, conducted by spearman rank correlation coefficient analysis through data obtained from surveys, supplemented by interviews text aimed to identify as much factors which affecting the residents’needs for environmental education. Chapter V is the conclusions and implications for research. Through this study, the author draws the following conclusions:residents’ level of existing environment learning is midstream and of differences, the needs for environmental education is large and of diverse, the factors that affect the needs is more complex. Then, proposes a revelation of this study:effectively guide and service the needs of residents by stimulating the motivation of environment learning, content-rich of environment learning, diverse ways and means of environment learning, protection given to support the education, focusing on the learning and training of relevant staff. |
