In the field of education, higher education is very complicated and varied. University education activities include learning activities, teaching activities, and scientific research activities. And the three blend and influence each other, become difficult to be distinguished. Through the different theoretical perspectives to analyze and explore university education activities can helps people to produce new education ideas and thoughts, and beneficial changes in practical application. Psychology provides a certain theoretical basis for pedagogy, and its change of theories will led to the change of its influence on education. Timely excavating the specific show of the part of update of psychology theory on pedagogy theory development and practical application is helpful for the application of the psychological research results promotion and the further development of education research.Contemporary cognitive psychology is the mainstream of the psychological research, of which extend cognitive is the radical point of view of the second generation cognitive psychology.Compared with the classical cognitive science, extended cognition has great changes on the related theoretical perspectives. And these changes will also change the influence of cognitive psychology in the aspect of education. In the views of extended cognition, what had happened to the viewpoints of peoples for traditional university education activities? This study attempted to make some exploration in this aspect, to provide some beneficial enlightenment for researchers in this field.This paper briefly introduced cognitive psychology and its influences on education, and the generation and development of extended cognition. On this basis, the paper briefly expounded the cognitive concepts of university education, then respectively made some analyses in several aspects of university learning activities, teaching activities and scientific research activities under the perspectives of extended cognition. The main conclusion is the subject status of the actors in the university education activities were weakened, the surrounding factors related to education activities such as technology, human environment, with behavior main body, together make up the carrier of the cognitive activities.
