In the Second stage of curriculum reform and the new curriculum reform background, the development and construction of the "Preview navigation" teaching mode, the teaching model in improving the students’ academic achievement and the cultivation of students’ autonomouslearning ability is superior to the traditional teaching pattern.In this paper, the experimental study was carried out on the "Preview navigation" teaching mode: two classes of grade nine, one is the experimental class(23 people), the other is the control class(22 people), the period of the experiment teaching for one semester, learning content include "GO INTO THE WORLD OF SOLUTIONS", "FUEL AND COMBUSTION", "PRELIMINARY RECOGNIZE ACIDS ANDBASES" and "METALS AND SALTS IN COMMON USE". Through the new teaching, experiment and the recitation of three different types of classes, respectively introduce the application of "process preview navigation" teaching model, during the experimental period, there are four major exams, this four examination papers as a research tool, but also as the comparative data of the experimental class and control class.By analyzing data of four academic test scores of two classes, we can see that the experimental class in academic achievement is better than the control class, the high score rate in some questions is due to enhance the autonomouslearning ability. This can be drawn, "Preview navigation" teaching model in improving the students’ academic achievement and the autonomouslearning ability of students is superior to the traditional teaching pattern.
