Case teaching was a method to provide case guidance for course teaching,is a kind of open,interactive new education way.Its main purpose was to cultivate students' ability of analysis,induction and generalization,and enhance their subject self-confidence.Preview refers to a process in which students learn what the teacher would teach independently before class,understand the difficulty of knowledge in advance,leave an impression on the knowledge points they couldn't understand,and solve problems at the same time.Case was applied before class,which helps students to have an overall understanding of knowledge before class.In order to fulfill the requirements of biological core literacy and give play to the principal role of students in the teaching process,this paper conducts relevant research on case teaching and preview method by referring to literature,and has a certain understanding of the domestic and foreign research situation.After a semester of application,the enthusiasm of the experimental class to preview is significantly improved,35% of the students can always finish the homework assigned by the teacher,for the students who can preview,they usually spent about 10 to 20 minutes in preview.Compared with the control class,the class atmosphere was more active and the number of students who answered class questions independently increased.The experimental class was also better at answering questions accurately and using scientific terms.Students paid more attention to life cases.Most students would accumulate extra-curricular knowledge related to biology.What they were interested in were "man and nature" and "related to their own interests",but not the history of biology.Students expect teachers to assign interesting preview tasks,such as "making models" and "reading relevant extracurricular knowledge",rather than mandatory reading books.At the same time,the scores of the experimental class and the control class showed a significant difference from no significant difference at the beginning of the examination to a significant difference at the end of the examination,with an average difference of 6.45 points.Guiding students' preview through case teaching can effectively improve students' learning enthusiasm help students to realize concept transformation and active classroom atmosphere.
