The Research Of Training Predicament And Development Ways Of Basketball Reserve In Sichuan Province

The communist party of China implemented the reform and opening up policy in 1978.China has entered a transition period from the planned economy to market economy after the third Plenary Session of the 11 th CPC Central Committee. Up to now, the traditional sports system that was established under the planned economy is confronted with deep impact from the market demand. Amateur sports schools have been shrinking constantly. Basketball reserve talents meet severe issues, a lack of potential sports teens and One-stop training System, to be difficult to obtain employment for professionals. Echelon construction and distribution became unreasonable. The CBA professional league, Youth league, Super and CUBA league are all faced with the serious problem of reserve talents shortage.Basketball, once proud of Sichuan, has fell down the cliff. Jinqiang Men’s Basketball Team’s entering to the CBA league and the importance that has been attached to three popular ball games in Sichuan province offer a good opportunity for the development of basketball. Further research of the basic situation of basketball reserve personnel training under the new background is urgent. To get the latest and accurate data and analysis the problems existing in the current backup talent cultivation can be helpful for taking effective measures to get out of the troubles.The methods have been used including consulting documents and materials, doing questionnaire surveys, interviewing experts, date statistics and logic analysis. These researches are based on 95 coaches and 472 athletes of three teams who attended high school basketball league of Sichuan in 2014 and Sichuan Youth Championships. Here are our discoveries below:1 Sichuan Province basketball reserve personnel training mode contains the traditional mode, combination of sports and teaching mode and mode of club. The traditional mode has been shrinking continuously. The mode of club is still in the initial stage. And the talents who combine sports with teaching are the most but in low level. So the mode of Cultivating Basketball Talent Reserve potential has not fully played out.2 Sichuan province now focus on building with pattern of combination of sports and teaching. Education system, which initially established a “training elementary-middle school-University” one-stop talent reserve system. And spread over all levels of school basketball tradition in Yibin, Chengdu, Mianyang, Luzhou, Deyang, Zigong and so on. Only Dazhou, Leshan and Aba have not combined.3 Actually the current basketball reserve talented person’s overall competitive level of Sichuan province is in the downstream of the whole country.4 Most of grass-roots basketball coaches in Sichuan Province are undergraduates from sports college, who are primary and middle job titles, with the number of the high level sport experience is not much, and coaching focused on 1-10 years, full-time coaches little, ignore the business training, a monthly income of more than 2000-4000 yuan; athletes have the obvious contradiction between learning and training, to participate in the competition is less, lack of funds, a single source.5 The main factors that restrict the development of the current basketball reserve talents in Sichuan province are the backwardness of the management system and cultivation system, the iniquity of the funding source, the insufficient of investment,the shortage of athletes who participated the games, the outstanding contradictions between learning and training, and the coaching standard need to been enhanced.6 Be based on upon reference the experience of American and domestic basketball reserve talents training outstanding area,according to the restricting factors proposed to gradually reform the management system, perfect the system of reserve personnel training, and perfect the competition system, leverage competition, take the road of the market, broaden the sources of funding, coaches and appointment system reform, increase the quantity and quality of professional training,make the combination of sports and teaching way, strengthen the management,dispel the contradiction between learning and training effective development path.
