| After our country had a great boom in higher education at the turn of the century, now it has moved into Post Increase Enrollment Era. In this process, the whole system of education and even society have been affected which produced potential and deep change. This paper tries to explore the changing in the view of functions of higher education the after Enrollment Expansion of college times in village? What deep cultural and social reasons behind these changes?The method of this paper is based on cultural anthropology investigation in two villages. Specifically, shangman village is located in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province. Sanhe village is located in Mianyang City, Sichuan Province. This paper describes the daily lives of this two countries, includes their children’s education future career. These daily lives come from eight different families in two villages. On this way, this paper showed the view of functions of higher education after Enrollment Expansion of college times in village.In the latter part of the research, it reorganizes the problem the different views of functions on higher education between two villages. And then, it rethink that the mutual interaction between the view of functions of higher education and cultural order of village. From the whole view of functions on higher education in the two villages, because of economic and regional location, shangman village has varied ways to achieve social mobility. Higher education is the main way. But people doesn’t rely on it completely. Villagers’ nutilitarian thoughts are serious, so they pay attention to the economic value. However, villagers rely on higher education completely in Sanhe village. Even a lot of villagers think that the higher education is hope and faith for family. However there are some similarities in two villagers. They all think that social class will affect equality higher education opportunity. Also, whether the functions of higher education can work depend on many factors. University grade is an important factor.For the mutual interaction of the view of functions on higher education and cultural order of village, the research analyses it through natural ecological orderã€public life ã€the order of mind relatively. The study suggested that although natural ecological order has been changing, even has been destroyed, facing crisis. In general, villagers never change their minds that higher education can achieve social mobility. Focusing on education aggravates rural hollowing during the process of urbanization, which is a clear proof that the view of functions of higher education affects natural ecological order. In the relationship between public life and the view of functions of higher education, public life happened infrequently and happened in festival. Due to the inter-relations of country public life order and higher education of higher education, the public life, festivals and ceremonies make the higher education playing the key role to improve the reputation of the family, which leading discourse in public can reflect. In the relation of mind order and higher education function, there is danger in the countries’ mind order. The past peaceful rural environment mentality gradually appears a utilitarian and impetuous tendency. Meanwhile, parents and children have different ideas about the view of functions of higher education. They communicate and conflict with each other, which will help to rebuild rural the order of mind. To sum up, the view of functions of higher education in village is multifariousã€intricate and contemporary. This illustrates that rural cultural order and the view of functions of higher education is a kind of dynamic interaction. |
