Research On The Value Of Moral Education Of Filial Piety At Senior High School

Filial piety is the moral creams of Chinese nation for thousands of years. It has become the background of Chinese virtues and the core of ethics with thousands years of historical precipitation. It is the vivid demonstration of respect parents, family harmony and even social harmony. We need inherit and carry forward the filial piety education, which is very good at shaping one’s noble qualities and healthy personality. Filial piety education is the source of responsibility, the foundation of morality and the important content of the contemporary moral education. To eliminate the feudal dross of traditional filial piety is also very important during the contemporary moral education, especially the moral education in vocational senior high school. At the very beginning, the article tells the sublation of traditional filial piety to make the best use of its good side for vocational senior high school. And then it tells how to implement the inheritance of traditional filial piety by discussing the era connotation of filial piety. At last, the article combines the research value and the current analysis situation of filial piety in vocational senior high school to find the problem and reflect on the root causes that lead to the problem, and find ways to blend the filial piety education in moral education of vocational senior high school to make moral education implement smoothly and effectively.The article falls into five parts. The first part is an overview of the traditional filial piety, then tells us the filial piety education and the filial piety education in vocational senior high school. The era implication of filial piety education and tells how to make the best use of filial piety in moral education by “inherit and develop the advantages and abandon the disadvantages”. The second part discusses the relationship of filial piety education and moral education, then extends to the relationship between filial piety education and moral education in vocational senior high school: moral education in vocational senior high school needs filial piety education, and filial piety education can enhance the effectiveness of moral education in vocational senior high school. The third part analyses the value of moral education in vocational senior high school. It is discussed from three aspects that how filial piety education works in vocational senior high school, including moral education, ideological education and political education. It can be summarized as: 1) filial piety education is the starting points of moral education; 2) filial piety education is the foundation of morality; 3) filial piety education is penetrated in the class atmosphere, study style, collectivism, team spirit and even plays an important role in patriotic. The fourth part analyses the current situation of filial piety in students of vocational senior high school by making a questionnaire survey, etc. By this way, we can find the advantages and disadvantages and reflect on the reasons, and analyze the moral dilemma brought to vocational senior high school. The fifth part discusses the possible ways that how filial piety education can be blended into moral education of vocational senior high school. By analyzing the value and inspiration of filial piety education that can be brought to vocational senior high school,this dissertation attemps to make people pay more attention to the education of filial piety and make it more smooth and effective to implement the moral education in vocational senior high school.
