Mountain Outdoor Sports Teams In Colleges And Universities Present Study

Mountain outdoor sports is an emerging sports project. In 2005, the State General Administration of Sports set up mountain outdoor sports as the one hundredth formal sports in our country because of its challenge and adventure. From the very beginning, this sport is popular with college students. The mountain outdoor sports teams in colleges and universities across China organized mountain outdoor sports competitions. Especially, the team from China University of Geosciences(Beijing) represented by the mountain outdoor sports teams in colleges and universities has become a backbone to promote the development of mountain outdoor sports competitions in China. The development of mountain outdoor sports competitions in China plays an important role. This paper mainly adopts the method of questionnaire investigation, expert interview, mathematical statistics and others, to investigate the basic condition of the construction of the mountain outdoor sports teams as a starting point. It investigates the mountain outdoor sports competitions mountain outdoor sports team of more than 20 universities, discusses the problems existing in the development of the mountain outdoor sports teams, analyses the factors affecting the development of mountain outdoor sports teams in higher education institutions. It reviews the problems existing in the development of targeted countermeasures for mountain outdoor sports teams in colleges and development, so as to provide certain theoretical basis.Research shows that: the development of mountain outdoor sports team in our country at present stage condition is not very good; less mountain outdoor sports competitions of universities and achievements is limited. A full-time coaches team is low, most coaches is made up of public physical education in colleges and universities teachers or sports institute of part-time teachers, coaches in guiding sports training, sports teaching task, so the coach’s pressure will be greater, which is not conducive to the coaches in sports training and competition. Sports team athletes practice is relatively single, recruit students level is poorer, few have high level of colleges and universities enrollment qualifications, the enrollment of college athletes from other poor quality. Poor location equipment facilities of the mountain outdoor sports teams, a lot of mountain outdoor training colleges and universities of the competition venue facilities and equipment are difficult to meet the training and competition of sports teams, which is not conducive to healthy and sustainable development of the team.Aiming at solving the problems existing in the mountain outdoor sports teams, I put forward the following suggestions: to promote and popularize the development of mountain outdoor sports in colleges and universities; to decrease the difficulty of competition suitable for college students to participate in the mountain outdoor sports competitions; to strengthen the construction of the coach team, and strengthen the study and training of coaches; to promote a contingent of professional coaches and professional; to strengthen the management of the athletes, especially the study of management, requires not only good complete training and competition. More importantly, related authorities should finish learning, formulate reasonable rewards and punishment system, and supervise and urge the athletes’ learning. Improving sports team training ground equipment facilities and competition and a good training ground facilities and equipment quality competition are conducive to achieve better results. The mountain outdoor sports teams facilities is also conducive to the project in common among students in colleges and universities to carry out.
