At present, China is being in the critical period of socialist reform. In the process, there have been a lot of bad phenomena such as corruption. The government pays a lot attention to it and constantly carries out legislation to fight corruption. In this big social background, the colleges should also examine themselves to prevent favor interference with the system, resulting in corruption.This article will attempt to examine the college management from the relationship of system and favor. The construction of system is the basis of college management. It will ensure the smooth progress of the management activities. But both the subject and object of management activities are man. It’s eventually to solve problems about interpersonal relationships. Theoretically speaking, the management should be neutral, but whether the establishment of system or the implementation of resolutions is inseparable from man’s value judgment. And with the participation of people, the management activities can never be able to remain neutral. Then this paper analyzed the relationship between the system and favor and described their respective advantages and disadvantages in college management. First of all, before the management activities, we should perfect the system of college management, improve the democracy and procedure of the system designing and strengthen the education of managers to protect the first line of defense against the favor alienation. Secondly, in the management process, we should enhance the transparency of the power’s operation to reduce the favor’s disturbance to the system through improving the democracy of decisions and building network platform to interact and supervise with each other and other measures. And by enhancing the flexibility of management and using the positive favor, the colleges can improve management efficiency and prevent the neglecting of favor. Finally, after the end of the management activities, we should review in time. For those improper management conducts, we must do a timely correction in case of more serious consequences.
