The curriculum resource is a new concept put forward by our nation in the new curriculum reform in 2004. The biology of the senior high school changes its forms from the fixed course to the selective one, whose course content comes in varieties. Therefore, the curriculum resource shows its great use and significance. With the development of the new curriculum, the biology teachers should further their study of all the curriculum resources both inside and outside the school. Besides, in order to make the biology classroom lively and effectively, it is of great importance to make full use of the original curriculum resources, explore the new ones and use the biology textbooks in a creative way. This paper studies the status of the exploitation of the biology curriculum resources in senior high school.This paper analyzes the study of the exploitation of curriculum resources at home and abroad by checking out the references, and gives a brief introduction of the concepts, classifications and characteristics of curriculum resources connected with the author’s understanding. What’s more, questionnaires and interviews are used to carry on the sample surveys in some of the teachers and students of the senior high schools in Wuzhou, aiming at finding out the statistical analysis of the needs for the senior high school biology course for the students and the exploitation of the biology curriculum resources for the teachers, so as to give a conclusion of problems appearing in the senior high school biology curriculum resources exploitation.The means of action research and case study are also used to make the research on the status of the senior high school biology curriculum resources exploitation, which include two main aspects. On one hand, the research of the combination of information technology and biology course of the senior high school:in the real biology teaching classroom, the teachers take advantage of the information technology, and explore new recourses with the students. In the process of open homework, the students use the Internet or any other recourse to display their achievement, which can accumulate their knowledge and broaden their horizon. In this way, the habit of learning and exploring by themselves is formed, and the competiveness of cooperation and creation is improved. On the other hand, the research of the combination of practice activities and biology course of the senior high school:in the practice activities, the textbook is combined with the activities properly. It also focuses on the motivation of both the teachers and the students. The exploitation of all the biology teaching materials offers a better environment for the students so that they can learn and exploit the course with more interest and higher teaching and learning effectiveness. Thus they can master the knowledge more easily.The study shows that making proper use of the biology curriculum recourses will benefit the reform of the traditional teaching patter, develop the biology teaching of senior high school, and improve the teaching effectiveness. Meanwhile, it will have a good effect on the development of the students’creativity, cooperation and exploration ability.Last but not the least, according to the author’s teaching experience from the teaching research, some suggestions are offered to the present exploitation of the curriculum resources in senior high school biology course, hoping that they can be of some help to the curriculum reform teaching.
