This paper introduces the background, concept, design principle, function, main content, production steps and the use process about teaching case, also carried out a research into practice. Teaching case studies to the teaching of plant cell engineering cases. Besides, I have carried on the questionnaires survey and interview investigation to the Dakai high school teachers and some students in Guigang. The purpose is to study the teaching case of the effectiveness of the new lecture and review lessons, and its influence on the development of the teachers and students both sides.Teaching case puts the teachers’ lesson plans and students’ learning cases together, is the teacher’s lesson plans, and students’ learning plans, is on the basis of the lesson plans and learning case development. In the teaching activities, Teacher is predominance, student is corpus, highlighting students’independent investigation, thus fosters the students’ self-educated ability and investigation ability thus, raises study effect. Domestic scholars to research more focus on teaching case in the physical sciences, the Chinese language. The study of biology teaching is rare, so are lack biological teaching case studies. Teaching case is presented according to the theory of constructivism learning theory as a kind of teaching model. The main content includes preparation, practice and reflection. In terms of the use of teaching case, it is including preparation, class, exercise, review and reflection process. Thus, case teaching has certain scientific nature and operability.Based on the plant cell engineering cases for related research, through the analysis of the results and the results of the survey, finally got the conclusion:As the new teaching of grade 2 and senior recitation of grade 3 on high school, teaching case can play a obvious promoting effect. Not only can improve the performance of students, but also can improve the students’ learning interest and learning ability, is the effective measure to improve the teaching effect. And the teaching case model promotes renewal teachers’ teaching idea, improve teachers’ ability to handle all aspects of teaching, and conducive to teachers’ lifelong learning.The implementation of the teaching case model had some influence factors and further research problems, after further perfected and optimized, it can be a more positive impact on teaching, the teachers and students both sides.
