Our country is vast in territory, and has a huge difference among national cultures. Each place contains a wealth of local curriculum resources which has great educational and teaching significance. The aim of this paper is to study the local curriculum resources of Guigang, to show the resources and its educational and teaching significance, in order to provide ideas for developing and using the local curriculum resources of Guigang.This paper take a case study of The Selected Poems of the Past Dynasties of Guigang in order to try to provide a practical reference for the development and utilization of local languages curriculum resources of Guigang.This thesis consists of five chapters, respectively:The first chapter divided into three sections discusses the basic theory of how to develop local languages curriculum. The first section define the connotation of local curriculum from the broad and narrow sense, and indicates that the local curriculum used in this paper is the narrow definition, namely the curriculum developed independently by each local place. The second section discusses the value to develop the local curriculum, the first is to promote the construction of the curriculum, second is to meet the needs of students and social development, third is to promote teachers’ professional development, fourth is to inherit and promote excellent local traditional culture. The three section discusses the basis to develop local curriculum from two aspects, namely education policy and education theory.The second chapter divided into two sections mainly discusses the characteristics of the local curriculum resources of Guigang. The first section make a comprehensive arrangement and classification for the local curriculum resources of Guigang. The local curriculum resources of Guigang mainly includes cultural relics and historic sites, celebrity stories, traditional customs, poems of the past dynasties, folk songs and so on. The second section summarizes the characteristics of the local curriculum resources of guigang. There are three main characteristics, the first is its rich and varied, second is its versatility, third is its participatory.The third chapter divided into three sections mainly discusses the curriculum setting of the Chinese local curriculum of Guigang namely "The Selected Poems of the Past Dynasties of Guigang". The first section discusses the purposes and functions of the curriculum, that is, the reading ability of classical poetry, the value for writing reference, and the influence and recognition of local culture. The second section discusses the selection principles when change curriculum resources to curriculum content, that is localization, idelological content, model, and acceptability. The third section classifies and introduces curriculum content, mainly include fourteen categories:poems of homesick and yearning, poems of scenery description and objects praise, Sadness poems for current events, poems of sigh with histories, farewell poems, poems for stay long in a strange place, landscape and pastoral poems, frontier fortress poems, poems of women’s complain, poems to mourn the dead relatives and friends, responding poems, reasonable and interesting poems, poems for something, poems for express feelings.The fourth chapter is the curriculum implementation. This chapter divided into six sections discusses the curriculum implementation of "The Selected Poems of the Past Dynasties of Guigang" from the curriculum implementation of whole course. The first section is the curriculum purposes, one is to develop students’Chinese literacy, two is to strengthen students’ local cultural identity. The second section is the curriculum program of "The Selected Poems of the Past Dynasties of Guigang", which focuses on the curriculum content, the curriculum opening time and the curriculum total hours. The third section mainly compiles the textbook based on the category standard of content. The fourth section is the teaching principles and methods of "The Selected Poems of the Past Dynasties of Guigang", including two aspects of the basic principles of teaching and basic methods of teaching. The fifth section is the teaching cases of "The Selected Poems of the Past Dynasties of Guigang". This section takes "poems of scenery description and objects praise" as an example to design teaching and to reflect and to suggest. The sixth section is the evaluation scheme of "The Selected Poems of the Past Dynasties of Guigang", including five aspects:the first is poetry recitation, the second is the poetry appreciation, the third is the poetry recitation contest, the fourth is the poetry writing, the fifth is poetry collection and arrangement.The fifth chapter is the reflection and recommendations for Guigang Chinese local curriculum. This chapter is to reflect mainly from six aspects, namely curriculum purposes. curriculum content, curriculum resources, textbook compilation, classroom teaching and curriculum evaluation. Reflection and recommendations of curriculum can help the curriculum researchers and designers to improve the curriculum construction, to help teachers to determine the curriculum objectives, to implement the curriculum content, and to complete teaching tasks betterly.The purpose of this study is to make up for the lack of local adaptation of national curriculum, to make local curriculum and school curriculum become more reasonable and normative, to provide relevant theoretical basis and development ideas for the development and implementation of local curriculum and school curriculum in the ordinary high school curriculum in Guigang city, to recommend curriculum resources which contains researching significance and which meets students’zone of proximal development, and to provide feasible operation scheme. In addition, to research local curriculum of Guigang can also display the rich curriculum resources of Guigang to people, let people know more about the culture and history of Guigang, and increase the influence of Guigang.
