During the revolution of education, it has become a common demand for each geography teacher to improve the teaching quality. In high school class, there is a communication cycle between teacher and students, where teacher provide information whereas students interact and give feedback. Though the feedback process has been neglect by teachers, this process would be important for both teachers and students. Using this method, teacher could improve the mode of teaching and enhance the teaching quality. As for the students, they will also benefit from the method as learning efficiency would be improved. Therefore, it would be meaningful to study the feedback process.This dissertation will first selects and review ten veritable records about the communication in class and feedback from students; and classified different type of feedback. And then, we’ll study the status of feedback processes in high school geography classes and analyze the problem. Finally, it will come up with the strategy about how to use feedback process in practice in order to improve the teaching quality.This dissertation is consist of four part.The first part is introduction, which illustrates the importance and significance as well as the research methods. In addition, it will give important definitions in the research including feedback process, feedback process in teaching and feedback process in geographical teaching.Next two parts are the main parts of the dissertation, where the second part analyses the feedback process in geographical teaching whilst fourth part provide important suggestions.In the third section, the dissertation will give suggestions from three angles:controlling strategy, adjusting strategy and enhancing strategy in the whole feedback process.Moreover, the last section will summarize the content and draw a conclusion.At the same time, some imperfects in my research are identified, which will be remained for a further study.
