With the new curriculum standards promulgated and implemented,the concept of limit and limit thought teaching has been neglected by the public,and the limit theory is the foundation of calculus,"limit thought"is the most important calculus generation and development,and basic mathematical ideas.The high school stage to understand the concept of limit,laid an important foundation for the subsequent study calculus theory.Based on the theory,study the differences between students in understanding of the concept of limit in high school by questionnaire survey and the interview method,explore the existing problems in senior high school students in the understanding and the causes of difficult to understand,in order to effective teaching for students and teachers to provide reference and suggestions.The following conclusions are obtained:Firstly,high school students understanding of the concept of limit in the four stages of APOS low level of the whole,and no gender difference.Understand the concept of limit geometric background in scoring rate highest activity stage is only 63.3%of the students.Second,high school students in the understanding of the concept of limit shown on the "infinite"to understand the difficulties,"infinite"as a number in the students’mind ingrained;High school students understand the concept of limits exhibit difficulties "potential infinite"and "real infinite"understanding,70.5% of students received only "potential infinity"can’t believe "real infinity"exists,thought that "infinite"has been under construction,will never be able to accomplish;The students "awareness of application limit view"is very weak,knowledge connection aspect ability is weak,difficult to rise to the schematic stage.Last,the main reason affecting students’conceptual understanding of limit is the interference of daily language, it is difficult to distinguish the potential infinite and real infinite dialectical relationship and cognitive structure set.Based on the findings,the author puts forward the corresponding suggestions for mathematics teachers in senior middle school and high school mathematics concept teaching,in order to provide some reference for the concept of mathematics teaching in our country.
