As an important subject, the posing of mathematical questions is widely concerned by domestic and foreign scholars. Whether it is from the aspect of social needs or the personal development of students, the train of students in problem posing ability is very important. Moreover, China’s Ministry of Education pays great attention to the cultivation of students’ ability to raise questions, and has carried on extensive promotion and practice besides giving requirements in curriculum standards. The researches at home and abroad about the ability of posing mathematical problems are mainly concentrated in the compulsory education stage and pay little attention to that for high school students. The thesis will focus on high school students and try to explore the strategies for the cultivation of the senior high school students’ abilities to pose mathematical questions.Based on the above understanding, the thesis uses the methods of literature, interviews, questionnaires and other research methods to explore the current situation and influence factors of the ability of the senior high to pose mathematical problems, and then puts forward the training strategy. The main procedure of the research is as followed:First step is to understand the current process, value and theoretical basis, based on the study of literature. Secondly, three investigations are designed, which are a teacher interview, a test of students’ability of posing mathematical problems and a student questionnaire. Through data analysis, the conclusion is that:teachers can realize the importance of cultivating students’ability of questions posing, but they do not highlight the cultivation in their teaching behavior. The mathematical questions of high school students are still in the lower level and single point of view, and the use of the method are the same, which is not optimistic regardless of the quantity or quality. The influential factors that caused this situation can be analyzed from two aspects:the individual factors and the external factors. For the individual factors, students’lack of questioning and exploring spirits, absence of reflection habits and the submission to authority can be on the list. For external factors, teachers’ attitudes and behaviors are the main causes. When students can not receive active response or corresponding guidance after asking, they will be discouraged.Based on the research above, a cultivation model is designed for the ability of the Senior High to pose questions. In the thesis, the cultivation is divided into four parts:inspiring students to pose question; cultivating posing habits of students; teaching students to pose mathematic questions; encouraging students to pose mathematic questions.
