Mathematics educators, mathematics teachers and partial master degree postgraduate students have made systemic discussions on the definition of mathematics culture, the educational value of mathematics culture and the difference of mathematics culture between western and eastern. Also, they have made a large number of substantive achievements. Most of postgraduate students have discussed mathematics culture based on macroscopic theory, and made probes about whether the mathematics culture is in accordance with the curriculum standard, the present form of mathematics culture in the textbooks, the application level. But these valuable problems lack systematic research.In this paper, the author regards mathematics culture from the view of culture,and compare concepts of mathematics culture from different scholars.Through interpreting the idea of mathematics cultural in the curriculum standards of mathematics, the author thinks that mathematics culture can be divided into implicit mathematics culture and dominant mathematics culture. Implicit mathematics culture means mathematics method, mathematics thought and mathematics rational spirit.Dominant mathematics culture consists of four categories which are mathematics with life, mathematics with science and technology, mathematics with humanities and arts,mathematics history. The content of mathematics culture in course mainly refers to the dominant mathematics culture. Using the above classification method, after clearing the dimension of comparison, by the combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis, the author makes the comparison and analysis about "numbers and formulas", "space and figure" in the new published textbooks book1&book2 since 2012 from People’s Education Press, Beijing Normal University Press, Hebei Education Press.The author discovered that the selections of content about mathematics with life are almost the same. There is a little differences in the application level; In the content about mathematics with science and technology, Beijing normal university version is the most abundant. Its distribution is more reasonable and application level is the highest, followed by People’s education version. Hebei education version is lower. 3versions of teaching material is very weak in the content about mathematics with humanities and arts, and there is distribution which is not reasonable. the application level is not high in the aspect about mathematics with humanities and arts. In terms of mathematics history, the learning content about mathematics history is relatively rich in all the 3 different editions, and the distribution range of mathematics history is more extensive. The distribution of mathematics history is more reasonable, also pay attention to join the mathematics history into teaching material of each part. But there still exist problems such as that the application level of mathematics history is relatively shallow.In this paper, the author makes comparison and research for mathematics culture in different version of educational material. Meanwhile, the author has discussed the selection, the distribution and the feature of present form about different version of educational material,also analyzed the advantage and disadvantage about the edition of different versions of the educational material.All of these works make a great contribution for promoting the editing works of our national educational materials.
