Mathematics culture is well known by more and more mathematics educators,and its positive effect on teaching is increasingly obvious,and its teaching-value is self-evident.Mathematics teaching material is an important carrier of teaching and learning.In 2018,the Ministry of Education promulgated the "general high school mathematics curriculum standards(2017 Edition)" clearly pointed out that mathematics culture should be integrated into the curriculum content,which shows that the research on mathematics culture in the new high school mathematics textbooks is imperative.This paper takes the compulsory textbook and the selective compulsory textbook as the research object(here in after referred to as the new textbook),and uses the methods of literature analysis,content analysis and case study to systematically study the mathematical culture in the five textbooks.Vertically,the new textbook is divided into four parts: non text,concept,example and exercise in the main line sequence of preparatory knowledge,function,geometry and algebra,probability and statistics,mathematical modeling and inquiry activities.It uses Professor Wang Xiao qin's classification of mathematical culture content,Professor Wang Jian pan's classification of mathematical culture application and Professor Zhang Wei zhong's cited mathematical culture function framework for reference The paper systematically analyzes the content,application and function of mathematical culture in each column of the new textbook by combining qualitative and quantitative methods.Statistics show that: in terms of cultural content,the mathematics of real life are the most,followed by the mathematics of science and technology,followed by the history of mathematics,and the mathematics of Humanities and art are the least;in terms of other ways of cultural application,there are more internal separable ways;in terms of cultural function,the frequency of transformation function is far more than other functions.The overall research draws the following conclusions:(1)the total amount of mathematical culture is rich and diverse,and the requirements of curriculum standards are implemented.(2)the new textbook fits the background of the times and shows cultural vitality.(3)the forms of mathematical culture are diverse,and the application level is improved.(4)the function of mathematical culture is clear,and the characteristics of columns are highlighted.(5)the types of mathematical culture are uneven,and the four fields are similar.(6)mathematical culture columns The distribution is balanced,in line with the law of compilation.Some thoughts on the compilation of textbooks are put forward according to the above conclusions:(1)balance different cultural contents,show the humanistic value of the textbook;(2)improve the distribution of cultural content,enhance the level of cultural application.From the perspective of teaching practice,this paper provides teaching suggestions for teachers:(1)understand the connotation of mathematical culture and attach importance to cultural elements;(2)integrate mathematical culture into the classroom and improve mathematical literacy;(3)carry out mathematical culture projects and strengthen cultural awareness.In order to reflect the practicality of mathematical culture in teaching and provide the front-line teachers with the teaching reference of mathematical culture,the author,based on the conclusions and teaching suggestions of the above-mentioned system research,exchanges and discusses with expert teachers,and finally selects the concept of arithmetic sequence to design the case of mathematical culture in the form of special research.
